i've been writing up my playlists from the VoltaRadio show and mailing them out once or twice a month.
i might start posting them here, if no one objects. or maybe just occasionally, i know i get enough unsolicited playlists: if anyone wants to get them all, sign up for the email.

'Endless War'. this week started off with a song thats still just as
powerful as the first time i heard it. maybe even more so, because
almost 2 years later its still pertinent. Ninja Tune first put up Saul
Williams Pledge of Resistance in march 2003, now the u.s. is lining up a 3rd country for invasion.
the tracks are still available at:
http://www.boombox.net/saul_williams/
and Not In Our Name's still around too

One of the more exciting, dramatic and cinematic full length albums
I've gotten my hands on recently is Amon Tobin's Single Cell Splinter
Theory. electronic and acoustic, it sounds allot like being chased through dark tunnels by giant humanoid rats weilding pickaxes and wearing utility belts. turns out the reason for that is the albums a soundtrack for a Tom Clancy video game. that was slightly disappointing until i saw the accompanying Penny Arcade comic which made it all better

Spy A: I am a spider.
Would you like to come to my birthday party?

Another new album, with more silly and less Lighthouses, is Cliquety
Kliqk by General Electrics on Compost. (is it just me or has Compost
been quiet lately?) the guy behind General Electrics has been all
over everyones album, and Lateef returns the favor for the Maroon's
Ambush by guesting on several tracks. its not really a hip hop album,
more a mash of airy indie keys and uh stuff. with a beat.

Podcast'll be up Monday.
